"Thank you so much for your amazing performance! It was incredible! Kids and parents alike loved it! I really appreciate all of the details too - from singing ****'s favorite songs, to bringing out the violin, to turning Happy Birthday into Twinkle Twinkle when the birthday boy had a bit of a meltdown just before the candle blowing."

A review from one of our AMAZING clients

(shared with permission)
"When I first heard of music therapy, I thought that I would give it a try, as I had previously engaged in various types of mental health talk-therapies. I experienced a traumatic loss and talk-therapy was not enough to cope with the complicated grief.  In our sessions together we explore the various ways that music and music therapy interventions can be used to cope with the anxiety and depression symptoms brought on by loss and grief.  Music Therapy has helped me better express, manage and regulate my emotions. Engaging in music therapy has helped me cope and practice radical acceptance.  Peri is an amazing support and genuinely holds space for everything that comes up. She is empathetic and intuitively responds to what is needed in the moment. She is organized and conscientious and really made me feel comfortable enough to trust the process in an uncertain journey through my grief."

"She [Peri] is an outstanding person who devotes herself to things she really cares about – children and music – and she simple shines in these arenas." - Emily, Boston Mom
"Peri was one of the best babysitters I ever had,
and I'm sure she will treat every child with equal care, and that she will make sure everyone has so much fun every day!"

"Peri is an incredibly self-disciplined, accountable person who juggles her many hats in a way that makes it seem effortless. She has been a professional mentor and peer of mine for several years now, always lending an open ear about the struggles and triumphs of being young, self-employed women. I also had the pleasure of attending a series of Peri's DoReMe&You classes with an almost two-year old girl when I was working as a childcare provider. Her dichotomous ability to calm and to energize is a real asset when working with children; I think this ability stems from her depth of understanding of music. Cadence, tempo, and melody are her strong-suits -- in songwriting, in childcare, and in her personal demeanor. As a leader and entrepreneur, Peri earns my highest recommendation." - Lillian, Somerville childcare provider

" I currently take piano lessons with Nicole from Strongwater Studios, and the experience has been fantastic! She is extremely professional, courteous, knowledgable and passionate about music and music education. You really get a sense that she wants you to take pleasure in learning and appreciating music, as much as just learning the mechanics of an instrument. If you're looking to learn to play that instrument you've always been curious about, or have a child with an interest in music, I urge you to check out Strongwater Studios!"
