Original Songs

Do you have a message to send or a story to tell?  Commission an original song or music composition.

Step 1.
Select a production level (see below). This will help us plan how much time to devote to you and your creative vision.

Step 2.
Get in touch! Email strongwaterstudios@gmail.com. Make sure to let us know if your song is for a special occasion, like a birthday or upcoming holiday.

Step 3.
We'll ask you a bunch of possibly-probing questions to get some lyric material out of you. If you don't like answering questions, then you should request an instrumental song.

Step 4.
Hang tight, we'll put together a masterpiece and get it to you over 1-2 weeks. If you'd like to be more involved, you can opt in to receive audio text messages and let us know your thoughts along the way.

Step 5.
Receive song and sing along!
You can commission a song that is
- a grand ode to someone of importance in your life
- romantic, for your sweet honey darling
- relaxing, a sweet lullaby for a precious smooshy baby
- motivational, like a personal sitcom theme song
- super emo, perhaps the Quarantine Blues?
- an alternative to your toddler singing "Wheels on the Bus" 10,000x a day

Production Levels
Tier 1, $50 - You'll get a low-quality audio track, recorded on the "Voice Memos" app of my iPhone. Likely a capella, mayyybe guitar or ukulele if you're lucky. (I get to choose tho based on my mood). Song Duration: prolly 60 seconds.

Tier 2, $75 - You'll get a video with medium-quality audio, recorded on my iPhone 11 (not too shabby) and shared via YouTube. Includes well-developed lyrics. You get to choose: ukulele, piano or guitar. You'll receive at least one rough draft along the way and are welcome to make adjustments. Puppets included! See below samples. Song Duration: prolly 2-3 minutes.

Tier 3, $120 - All of the above, but with a higher quality audio recording, available for separate downloading. You have the option to add multiple tracks, such as vocal harmonies or as many instruments as I know how to play. Your song will be recorded in Garageband. Song Duration: Up to 4 minutes.

Tier 4, $200+. All of the above, plus I'll enlist the help of my skilled videographer sister and we'll make a custom music video on whatever tech is available to us at this time AND you'll get a downloadable audio track made to a higher standard cuz with your purchase I'll be able to buy LogicPro, thanks! You can be as involved or uninvolved in the creative songwriting process as you choose to be. Song Duration: Up to 6 minutes.
